  • This one-time workshop is a great way to explore wheel throwing while creating your own handmade matcha bowl. In a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting, our instructor will guide you step by step through the process of throwing, shaping, and finishing a bowl designed for your favorite matcha rituals.

    At the end of the session, you'll select two matcha bowl to keep. Our team will take care of trimming, glazing, and firing, and your finished piece will be ready for pickup in about 4–6 weeks.

what will i learn in a Workshops?

Our one-time workshops are beginner-friendly and centered around a specific theme or project. Depending on the workshop, you’ll learn wheel throwing or hand building techniques while creating your own piece.

  • No prior pottery experience is required. Workshops are designed for complete beginners, including those trying pottery for the first time.

  • Glazing is not included during the workshop. Our studio team will glaze and fire your finished piece for you afterward.

how does the workshop work?

  • Each workshop is a one-time, 2.5-hour session, including cleanup time.

  • Your piece will be finished and ready for pickup approximately 4–6 weeks after the workshop.

What's Included?

  • We provide all the materials you'll need, including clay, tools, glazes, and firing—just bring yourself!

    If you already have your own pottery tools, you're welcome to bring and use them.

  • We do provide aprons, but pottery can still get a little messy, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

  • At the end of the workshop, you'll be able to choose up to two pieces to keep, which our studio team will glaze and fire for you. The number of finished pieces may vary depending on the workshop project.
