Host your private event at The Clay Table, a welcoming pottery studio in Cambridge designed for hands on, creative experiences.

Whether you're celebrating something special or gathering with friends or colleagues, we will help you plan a session that fits your group.

Private Group Event Details

  • We offer two group sizes,

    • Intimate (5-7 guests): $120 per guest
      Gather (8-12 guests): $100 per guest
      Celebrate (13-22 guests): $100 per guest

    • Your final rate will be based on your confirmed group size, with no extra fees (no gratuity or instructor fees)

  • We offer two Private Event experiences: Daylight and Nightlight.

    • Daylight
      Available Monday–Saturday during daytime hours. A bright and relaxed pottery experience with plenty of natural light. Perfect for a creative daytime activity, get-together, or private event.

    • Nightlight
      Available Friday & Saturday evenings. A cozy pottery experience with the lights turned down, but still bright enough to see what you’re making. Perfect for a fun pottery night out, date night, or private event.

  • Event Details

    • Events run for a total of 2.5 hours, including cleanup time, and we’re happy to tailor the format or activities to suit your group.

    • Events begin and end at the scheduled time; please arrive 5–10 minutes early, as we may not be able to accommodate early arrivals.

    • No prior experience is needed.

  • Materials & Process

    • Clay, glaze, firing, tools, and aprons are included, but you’re welcome to bring your own tools if you prefer.

    • We recommend wearing clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy.

    • Each participant may complete up to 2 pieces.

    • Finished pieces are typically ready for pickup in 4 to 6 weeks.

  • Participants must be at least 10 years old.
