what will i learn in crash course?
Our crash courses offer a focused introduction to wheel throwing and are open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to those with prior pottery experience.
Offered in 3-week or 4-week sessions, these courses guide students through the pottery-making process, including wedging clay, centering, pulling walls, shaping forms, trimming, and glazing.

How Does the Class Work?
Each class meets once a week for 2 hours of instruction, followed by 30 minutes of cleanup time.
This is a general course outline. The schedule may vary slightly depending on the instructor and the pace of the class.
What's Included?
We provide all the materials you'll need, including clay, tools, glazes, and firing—just bring yourself!
If you already have your own pottery tools, you're welcome to bring and use them.
We do provide aprons, but pottery can still get a little messy, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Tying back long hair and keeping your nails short can also make working with clay easier!
what if i miss a class?
Makeup classes are NOT available for crash courses.
If you miss trimming or glazing, you may still be able to take home your pieces, but they may not be fully finished or glazed.
